Describe yourself in a few words:
I started windsurfing in 1981 and was hooked from day one. Over the years, my passion for speed and big waves has taken me around the world. In 2018, I rode the legendary Jaws, and in 2020, I joined the elite 100 km/h club in Lüderitz. But the journey is far from over—my bucket list still includes surfing One Eye in Mauritius and Cloudbreak in Fiji.

Best day on the water:
One of my most unforgettable sessions was in Kommetjie, South Africa. The waves were huge - double mast high, clean and almost glassy, with perfect side-offshore winds. To top it off, I was out there with great friends, sharing the stoke. It doesn’t get much better than that… well, maybe with slightly warmer water!
