The HD Classic RDM mast extension is designed for windsurfers who value reliability, efficiency and durability when rigging. It provides a stable, torsion-resistant base for modern freeride, freerace and wave sailing with RDM masts.

Effort-saving trimming with 2 pulleys and 4:1 ratio

Equipped with two smooth-running pulleys and a 4:1 purchase ratio, the HD Classic RDM mast extension noticeably reduces downhaul effort. Even sails with high luff tension can be trimmed in a controlled and precise way – efficiently and with reduced strain on the equipment.

Butterfly hinged length adjustment

The proven butterfly system works as an automatic hinged collar system, allowing quick and intuitive adjustment of the extension length. Length settings are made in 20 mm increments. Simple, robust and reliable – even with frequent rigging.

Reinforced construction for enhanced durability

The connection at the mast base is reinforced with an integrated stainless steel insert. This construction increases overall stiffness and contributes to high mechanical strength and long-term durability.
In addition, the release button is made of stainless steel, offering significantly higher durability compared to common plastic components.

High compatibility, maximum flexibility

The HD Classic RDM mast extension is suitable for all RDM masts and compatible with all U-Pin / Euro-Pin systems. It works seamlessly with all our mast baseplates as well as U-Pin mast bases from other manufacturers.

The extension is supplied without rope. For optimal performance and minimal downhaul force, we recommend the MARLOW FORMULINE rope.
