The HD Classic SDM mast extension is designed for windsurfers who value reliability, efficiency and long-term durability when rigging. Manufactured from robust aluminium, it provides a stiff, torsion-resistant base for sporty freeride, freerace and slalom windsurfing.

Effort-saving trimming with 3 pulleys and 6:1 ratio

Equipped with three smooth-running pulleys and a 6:1 purchase ratio, the HD Classic mast extension significantly reduces downhaul effort. Even sails with high luff tension can be trimmed in a controlled and precise way – with noticeably less force required during rigging.

Fast butterfly hinged length adjustment

The proven butterfly system works as an automatic hinged collar system, allowing quick and intuitive adjustment of the extension length. Length settings are made in 20 mm increments. Simple, robust and absolutely reliable – even with frequent rigging and high loads.

High compatibility, maximum flexibility

The HD Classic SDM mast extension is suitable for all SDM masts and compatible with all U-Pin / Euro-Pin systems. It works seamlessly with all our mast baseplates as well as U-Pin mast bases from other manufacturers (not compatible with long-pin systems). 

The extension is supplied without rope. For optimal performance and minimal downhaul force, we recommend the MARLOW FORMULINE rope.
