The GUNSAILS YEAH remains our style performer for radical manoeuvres, power moves and everything that makes an impact on the water. After the complete redesign in 2025, we have refined the 2026 version once again: The previously straight foot edge is now cut in a slight concave shape to reduce contact and thus friction with the board. In addition, Kevlar patches placed on both sides inside the sail provide invisible but highly effective reinforcement in this particularly stressed area.

The YEAH accelerates explosively, charges its soft profile in no time and remains predictable at all times. The pressure point stays stable even in gusts – the handling is light, reactive and ultra-neutral. Duck moves, air moves or quick changes of direction feel almost like autopilot: pick up speed, release the power, then re-engage – always with maximum control.

With only the necessary X-Ply in the stress zones, the YEAH remains extremely light without compromising stability or durability. The almost fully tensioned leech without loose leech is typical freestyle – full energy for your manoeuvres and a direct, crisp drive.

KEY FEATURES
1. MAST PROTECTOR
The two-piece mast foot protector offers more protection for mast and board. The loop makes it easier to pull down the sail.
2. DOUBLE LOCK SEAMS
Seams widened to 40 mm form the most stable connection between the panels. They are used in stress zones and areas of high tension and make the sail robust and durable.
3. FOOT + POCKET GUARD
A PVC braid in the lower leech and on the lower batten protects the material from abrasion.
4. SMART CLEW CONSTRUCTION
New clew reinforcement: Robust construction for increased durability and even force distribution even in strong conditions.
5. DACRON LUFF PANEL
For an even profile and improved ON/OFF - perfect balance between responsiveness and stability.

TECHNOLOGY
F.R.E.D.
F.R.E.D. will help you to find the optimal downhaul trim for your sail. The mark is located in the upper sail window. Simply trim the downhaul rope until the loose leech reaches the FRED mark.
TOP GUARD
The large reinforcement at the sail top avoids abrasion and wearing out whilst rigging.
VARIO TOP
With some sails a Vario Top is used, which also allows the use of a longer mast. An additional loop is sewn on top of each sail. It serves to hook in the sail if you want to pull out the mast.
MINI BATTENS
Lightweight mini battens take control of the leech while twisting and avoid detrimental leech flutter. By that, the window fabrics are prevented from damage and the longevity of the sail is increased.
BATTEN GUARD
PVC logo labels on the batten pockets prevent wearing out and abrasion whilst rigging.
INTERNAL TRIM BATTEN
The Internal Trim Batten system is completely integrated into the batten pocket. The battens can stay tensioned in the sail. The fine adjustment ensures an optimal trim. The profiled end piece offers additional protection against abrasion. An Allen key to tension comes with each sail.
BOOM POSITION CONTROL
The printed height scale at the boom opening helps you to easily remember your personal boom position.
SLEEVE VOLUMER
The sewn PVC label keeps the mast sleeve open at the boom opening like a clasp making it easier to insert the mast.

MAST FOOT PROTECTOR
The new mast foot protector offers more protection for mast and board. The loop makes it easier to pull down the sail.Through an opening, the uphaul can be conveniently guided inside the protector. There is a mesh pocket on the inside. Excess rope etc. can be stowed here.
COMFORT PULLEY
The integrated triple pulley has large easy turning stainless brass rolls which greatly reduce the effort required for sail trimming.
TRIM SETTING
The luff length is patched on the mast protector. The boom length is also printed beside the clew.
POCKET GUARD
A PVC braid sewn onto the bottom batten pocket protects the sail from abrasion when waterstarting.
STRAP ON
After rolling up the sail, simply attach the bungee rope and the sail can be stowed away easier and is more space-saving.
FOOT GUARD
All seams in the significantly stressed foot area are protected by Dacron coverings. A PVC edging at the sail foot protects the leech edge against your board’s nonslip coating.
