The GUNSAILS Classic mast base features a robust and proven powerjoint construction, one of the most popular systems in windsurfing for many years. It connects board and rig securely while providing direct, controlled power transmission combined with a high degree of freedom of movement.

The flexible powerjoint creates a balanced connection between board and rig and reliably compensates for movement. This keeps the setup comfortable and controllable – whether during freeride sessions or more performance-oriented sailing.

Robust construction for long-lasting durability

The high-quality stainless steel pin ensures a secure connection with all compatible U-Pin / Euro-Pin extensions. The solid construction is designed to withstand regular use and high loads.
An integrated safety rope keeps the connection intact even in the unlikely event of a powerjoint failure, allowing you to make your way back to shore under limited conditions.

Board protection included

The included plastic protection plate effectively protects your board against scratches and pressure marks when tightening the mast base.

Quick and easy board assembly

The supplied T-nut slides easily into the US box track. The mast base is then positioned and tightened – quick, simple and reliable.

High compatibility

The Classic mast base is compatible with all common U-Pin / Euro-Pin mast extensions and can be combined flexibly with a wide variety of setups.
