With a secure 10mm outer padding, padded intermediate layer, additional protection for nose and tail and the environmentally friendly Ristop made from recycled PET bottles it protects your boards and equipment optimally. Thanks to the large zipper, loading is quick and easy.

SURF MAG JULY 2025 / TEST DOUBLE BOARD BAG

The Gunsails bag is similar in shape and padding to the one from ION, but weighs half a kilo more and uses more robust materials. Eight compression straps cinch everything down tightly. Large, reinforced handles on the front and back, a side handle, and a padded shoulder strap make carrying easy and comfortable. There’s one single ventilation opening on the side. The side padding isn’t stitched in all the way, which could allow for slight shifting. 

The bag opens wide and features a fixed internal divider. Additional straps inside help secure your gear. Despite its relatively low weight, the Gunsails bag stands out with a tough outer fabric and solid padding, especially at the ends. With a width of 75 centimeters, a 130-liter freeride board fits in – though just barely.
